Musically inspired by T. Rex's "Cosmic Dancer." I played all the guitar on this track which was really fun, but I felt like I was channeling John Lennon a bit in the way I sang it (maybe because of this Plastic Ono drums?). Anyway...this is a pretty personal song. In fact, the first line is directly from my old diary, but songs are also spells that I put on myself and I wanted to be tough and fully embrace the pain that comes with pleasure. You know.. Nietzsche's way vs the Buddhist's way : )
